Hi! My name is Lysa and I'm a veteran educator and school administrator with B.S. in Journalism and a JD from Florida A&M University. I also have a Master in Business Management from Troy University.
I'm a former English teacher with proven results on student achievement and New Leaders for New Schools trained school administrator, and I have taught middle and high school ELA as well as middle school Social Studies. I also have extensive experience and expertise in developing school leaders and teachers to have a deep impact on student achievement.
I'm a native of Orlando, FL and now a Left-Coast-Living resident, and resides in California with my daughter. With equity at the forefront of all I do, I advocate daily for the holistic approach to educating our children. I believe that ALL children can and will learn and they MUST receive the highest quality of instruction in an engaging educational environment fortified in by a strong, supportive and supported school community.
