Hi! My name is Abby Smith and I can’t wait to partner with families through Co-Teach! My hope is that by collaborating and supporting one another we will have a positive impact on your student’s learning. I am here to listen and learn about the successes and challenges you and your student have experienced along your educational journey. I believe in developing a partnership that will allow us to navigate how to best meet your family’s individual needs. Together, we can move your student forward and see him/her experience continual growth & development!

I am originally from southern Illinois, and moved to St. Louis, MO where I have lived and worked for the past 15 years. My husband is also an educator and we have two children, ages 7 and 4. On the weekends, we like to be outside and often have family game nights.

I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Mathematics and a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction. I became a National Board Certified Teacher and continually work to learn new things and grow as part of that experience. After teaching 2nd & 3rd grade, I became a PreK-6th Math Instructional Coach. I love learning about how students build understanding of mathematics! I get to teach and support teachers, students, and families in their math development every day- it is the best!
